The Boys\u2019 Brigade was founded in Glasgow in 1883 by Sir William Smith, and the BB quickly spread across the United Kingdom and became a worldwide organisation by the early 1890s.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Object of The Boys\u2019 Brigade is the advancement of Christ\u2019s kingdom among Boys and the promotion of habits of Obedience, Reverence, Discipline, Self-respect and all that tends towards a true Christian manliness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The current Highland Battalion Boys\u2019 Brigade was established in 1999 and currently has 11 Companies across the Highlands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have faith in young people<\/strong> and provide opportunities for children and young people to learn<\/strong>, grow<\/strong> and discover<\/strong> in a safe, fun and caring environment which is rooted in the Christian faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s something for every young person whether it\u2019s camping or kayaking, first aid or five a side, music or crafts. Members develop skills, build confidence, make friends, take responsibility and are encouraged to make a real difference in their communities \u2013 sharing the values that make us who we are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
